Amanda and Jane, as the Womens Room, http://www.thewomensroomblog.com/ were one of the 20- strong blogging team at this event today -- see http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tanks-tate-modern/music-and-live-performance/bmw-tate-live-suzanne-lacy-silver-action

Extravagantly dressed woman seen on way into the Tanks.

Some early preparation in the Turbine Hall for Kraftwerk's up coming gigs.

Excited to be at the front of the queue for the performance.

400 women, all with histories of activism and political action, over the age of 60, 100 at a time, in conversation at 25 tables

Individual stories being captured on computer and shown live on the wall projection.

Amanda blogging - not involved in the live conversation, not an easy thing for her to do.

Required to be dressed all in black - the orange leather polar bear worn to express her individuality...

Jane tweeting ...

... in her gold brogues.
