Frieze framed 3 - Installations on the wall

I am drawn to collections and to installations on walls - you get both with the first piece.

Mark Dion - The Package

Good use of a light box to show off the x-rays and I like the humour behind what might be in the packages, a jellyfish or a food whisker.

Amanda Ross-Ho - Untitled apron 2011
More good use of humour and scaling up an everyday object.

Sakshi Gupta - Water shelf 2011
A play on the green walls you now see if every office building and funky new shop/cafe - but this one is all black and dead.

Mike Nelson - Towards a lexicon of phenomena and information association, an intermediate home apparatus - moon high, bone black 2011.
Wins award for longest title - having seen his coral reef at Tate Britain and his Venice Biennale piece, it is interesting to see a much smaller compact work.

Brian Griffiths - Bear work wear (black) 2011
Made me laugh and makes a good companion piece to the apron above.

Jonathan Monk - 3 pieces in one
Good use of plastic tubes.

Elmgreen and Dragset - Untitled
Every home should have its own mortuary wall piece

Katie Paterson - 289 bulbs with logbook and crate - edition of 9

Job Koelewijn - Relief 1 feb 2006 - 24 march 2009
What to do with your old cassette tapes - all 712 hours of them.

Do Ho Suh - Specimen series New York City Corridor - 1
Who would have thought some pink polyester fabric could be used to so cleverly replicate light switches, door springs and fire hoses from a New York corridor - unfortunately it was on sale for $225,000

Perhaps Tracey Emin bought it ...
