Visiting again on the fourth day of the fair, highlighted the significant amount of rehanging - business must be good.
The pieces I have chosen again stand out due to the materials used, methods of marking and in some cases the unusual positioning of the work.
Anne Collier - Puzzle (Jackson Pollock, Convergence) - one of a number of interesting photos from this artist on show - this one has a clever image of a Pollock jigsaw, unmade in a box.
Sean Sculley - Liliane - 9 aquatints with sugarlift, spitbite and hard ground etching sheet.
Not sure what these are but the finish is crisp and textured - well worth exploring.
Gavin Turk's door and frame in the sculpture park - every garden should have one.
JR - 28 millemetres, Women are Heroes, Swimming Pool, Intercontinental Hotel, Monrovia, Liberia.
Good use of close up photography of a local woman's face, blown up and put in a disused hotel pool.
Taryn Simon - photo of the wailing wall in Jerusalem - but is it? - on closer inspection it is from miniature Israel - miniature visitors to the Wailing Wall move up and down in prayer.
In the foreground a piece by Liu Wei, made out of cut up chinese books and in the background one of Aaron Young's motorcycle tyre paintings - well worth looking at youtube to see how they are made.
Lara Faveretto - Iron scaffolding and blue wool.
A piece from Brazil scaling up an everyday cash till receipt.
Moniks Snosnowska - Steel tubes and concrete.
Ali Banisadr - Time for Outrage - good piece for our times
Quite a number of pieces featured simple materials with some stitching.
Iman Issa - good to finish off with a rather elegant typewrite photo.
