Barry Flanagan - Tate Britain

I revisited the Tate's Barry Flanagan show - each time I visit, I get something else out of it. I particularly like the absurdist element to his early work and when he was in poverty and needed to find a new commercial direction he wasn't afraid to leave it all behind and concentrate on hare sculptures - an absurd idea in itself.

If you go and see it, don't miss John Smith's short film at the exit - Girl with Chewing Gum
