With Patrick's help, I managed to get the 4 steel plates onto the wall - complete with its unique identity number 366 - one of the 900 road panels on Hammersmith Bridge.
Next to the steel on the wall, I have put two of the rubberised coverings that I stripped off from the panels - one side has the red oxide paint which mirrors that on the panel and the other side has remnants of the asphalt from the road.
Experimented with some neon colour and elasticated clips.
When I reviewed the room, it seemed one of the best pieces may be the worktop of the table - reminiscent of Dieter Roth's work.
Stacked the plates on wheels and compressed layers of plastic balls.
Went to the London Art Fair - was somewhat disappointing from a contemporary art point of view - in fact the highlight was a vintage, 1967, Faema E61 coffee machine, found in the Illy showroom within the Islington Business Centre - the missing bits were in the dishwasher ...
I had thought I'd seen most Boyle Family works but this one, titled Study for the Fire Series with Melted Records from 1989, was new on me.
Henry Moore - I am always struck and impressed by the precision spacing of the strings in these works.
Patrick Heron - Light Leaves 1956 - less colourful than his normal pieces but the occasional glimpse of red and yellow is effective.
Kazuhito Takedoi - twigs and cotton string - very delicate structure, again produced with exquisite precision.
Rob and Nick Carter - Paint Pigment Photograph series 2012 - interesting use of daytime fireworks with pigment.
Tom Lovelace - Yellow Rupture 2009 - good example of making a piece of work and then letting the photograph of it be another piece - replicates the original piece along the lines described in Roland Bathes writings on photography.
Finally, a video tour of my project space as it stood at the end of day two.
