Hope and Glory, Morris Men and Mazzy Star

Went for a run to Hammersmith Bridge in the morning - just in time to see the last boats getting into position for the pageant - will leave it to others to slag off the BBC for their truly atrocious coverage of the actual event.

Stopped to watch a very energetic display of jigging by the Hammersmith Morris Men troupe.

RIP the Jubilee ...

After a brief visit to the local street party held in the church hall, I went to see Mazzy Star at the Shepherds Bush Empire and very good it was too .
They like to play in the dark and, to compensate, used intriguing and powerful back images.
Not sure why the drummer played in the dark in dark glasses ?
