Patrick Keiller installation and thousands of speedos

Went into the Duveen Galleries at Tate Britain and watched an installation of an exhibition in progress. Not that common to see such a large exhibition being put together, as this is normally done behind closed doors.

Any exhibition with a couple of Andreas Gursky works must be worth visiting

Wandered back to college to find thousands speedos dumped by the rubbish area - these had apparently been obtained by students at the college for an installation, but it didn't look as if this had come to anything, as all speedos were in their original packaging. They are of little value now because the IOC have banned their use, as they allow swimmers to go faster using its resistance-reducing material.
Just as we were all rooting around the bags, a big white van arrived to take them away for a charity to sell.
