Anais Mitchell at Rough Trade Records, 13/2/12

Saw the amazing Anais Mitchell play at Rough Trade Records in Notting Hill yesterday - to launch her new album Young Man In America.


My beautiful launderette was just around the corner

Most artists apparently play behind the counter but Anais decided to play standing on the counter.
I like the Sex Pistols, PIL and Clash posters in the background.

Wallis Bird joined Anais on the counter for an encore - by now the shop staff were getting a bit twitchy abut the ability of the counter to hold the artists ...
