Hockney and Panerai
So, what lessons did I learn from Hockney ? Always explore new technology - see how you could use it in your work. Persist with your art making - repetition leads to mastery. Literal images can still work as contemporary art. Use more purple in my work. I should have an action week. Favourite piece was the collage of photos - Pearblossom Highway (1986) :
